Doc Brown’s BBQ

White Duck Taco

In 2017, Asheville Sailing Club developed the opportunity, through a generous grant from Buncombe County Parks & Recreation, matching funds, and sponsorships, to establish the Asheville Youth Sailing program.

The program, run entirely by volunteers from the Asheville Sailing Club, begins with basic instruction on and off the water.

Each sailor will be assigned a boat and gear to use and care for throughout the duration of the 2018 program. Safe and friendly instruction on Saturday mornings will push the sailors to try this new sport and build the skills and confidence they need to independently sail a small dinghy on their own.

There are sponsorship opportunities on nine boats being used in the youth program. As a sponsor, you:

  • Will have one boat with your company logo on both sides of the boat.
  • Can follow updates of your boat the participant sailing it on Facebook and our website.
  • Will receive a 22” x 28” poster of your sponsored boat and sailor to proudly display in your business.

Your company will be on display providing tremendous exposure from all those at the Lake Julian Park – especially during our mid-summer youth regatta, with hundreds in attendance to cheer the sailors on!

The cost associated with sponsorship is $400.

Please consider this opportunity as an excellent fit for your commitment to the youth in our local community. Help Asheville Youth Sailing grow our community outreach footprint and increase your company’s exposure and contribution to our area youth at the same time.
