Two weekly sessions of Junior Open Sailing, starting Mondays June 26 and July 3 from 1 pm – 5 pm. $100 a week. These sessions are for sailors who have sailed with Asheville Youth Sailing before. We’re happy to host weekly sessions of supervised sailing. Get out on the water, enjoy the sunshine, we’ll play (safe) games, do drills, race a little, and just sail around. Ages 9 – 18 only.
Once you click HERE to register, you will be taken to Clubspot, our membership site. If you sailed with us last year, you will already have a login. Once there, choose your sessions and which boat you’d like to sail. We’ll collect your payment and your waivers. (Be sure to check your email after registration to click the waiver!)
Please make sure you register online with your correct email address, and phone numbers since notifications may be made as late as the day of the event. Parents need to be “on call” while their sailor is on the lake in case of inclement weather — including too much or too little wind, rain, and thunderstorms.
COVID -19 Disclaimer: US Sailing, Asheville Youth Sailing, and The Asheville Sailing Club recommend singlehanded sailing or family sailing during this pandemic. The safety and health of each member is the responsibility of the individual member. Sailing is a great way to get back together as a club and enjoy being on the water. We will monitor the situation daily and make appropriate changes as needed. Please note there will be no onsite registrations.
In the event of a resurgence of COVID-19 which causes us to cancel your session, or a documented or suspected case of COVID-19 in your household, all registration fees (minus the credit card charges) will be completely refunded.
